About Us

HD Flagpoles has its roots in American patriotism and entrepreneurship. The company was founded in 2022 by father/son duo, Dan & Nick Garren.

Dan was a successful general contractor who built his previous company, Cyde Enterprises, into a national success for over 45+ years and had a working relationship with numerous companies across the US such as Coca Cola, Pepsi, Ace Hardware, Long John Silvers, Wendy's, Circle K, GSI and many more.  Nick is an ecommerce entrepreneur and marketing expert with deep ties to his past with Cyde Enterprises. 

Dan was an old-school patriot who believed deeply in moral integrity, honesty, fairness, and hard work. He treated people well and expected the best from his team. Many of the folks who helped Dan build Cyde joined him again to launch HD Flagpoles because they shared his values and work ethic.

With this team, Dan and Nick aimed to create a flagpole supplier that would provide unmatched customer service for both commercial and residential customers across the country. He knew that their collective experience supporting general contractors for decades would make HD Flagpoles an ideal partner for flagpole projects of all sizes.

Sadly, Dan passed away from cancer in May 2023 but his spirit lives on through the company he co-founded. Our team is committed to moving HD Flagpoles forward with the same determination, grit, and care for customers that Dan exemplified.
